This small space started as a dark room with darker furnishings. In an effort to create a light-filled work space, the room was painted white and hand-me-down bookcases were painted to match. For increased desk space, a 3 inch thick, wall to wall piece of salvaged glu-lam beam from an old mill was floated on brackets and additionally supported with salvaged wood corbels. With the addition of a work stool and old library card catalog, the office has everything needed to function well and provide storage.
